Perfect for an extended bird watching trip, campfire evenings or summer holidays these playing cards were made to the specifications of the Wild Bird Society of Japan. Featuring 54 representatives of Japan’s diverse bird life, each card includes the bird’s English, Japanese and Latin name. The suits and numbers correspond to an aspect in birdlife (the Kings are eagle species, the Queens are variants of pheasants, Jacks are owls and so on to include the 6s and 7s which are birds with beautiful songs). Durable, the cards have a WBSJ design and logo on the reverse. They are hence a way to learn about birds, to support the work of the WBSJ, and to defeat your rival in a competitive game of Go Fish.
